CHAPTER 2 THE LORDS OF DARKNESS
The dark shore of Xibalba lay beyond a river of piranhas.
This river was enough to dissuade most people, but the twins were valiant.
They dived into the water and swam so swiftly that the piranhas didn't have time to react.
The fish bared their teeth and thrashed the water in anger as the twins stepped safely onto the shore of Xibalba.
"We'll be ready for those twins next time," the piranhas vowed to each other.
