CHAPTER 3 WE MARCH!
We followed the leaders onto the road, moving slowly at first and walking in lines.
There were people marching on every side of us, with some linking arms, and everybody talking excitedly.
At the front with Dr. King, I noticed people wearing garlands of flowers around their necks.
Back where we were, some people were carrying flags and others were carrying signs,
and like us, many people carried their bed rolls ready for the nights ahead.
It felt incredib
