Quinn came home with some news.
"The Fall Fair is this Saturday.
My class is putting on a play about a queen and a jester.
I am going to play the queen!
Max is going to play the jester," said Quinn.
"Can I help you with the play?" asked her brother Jack.
"Can you read Max's part?
That would help me learn my lines," said Quinn.
"Okay," said Jack.

Chapter 2 Jack Helps
On Saturday, Quinn and Jack went to the Fall Fair.
Quinn was ready to play the queen.
But Max, the jester, did not show up.
He was sick.
Quinn's teacher, Miss Fox, was upset.
