Suddenly they heard a weird sound coming from the dark pit,
a combination of flapping noises and high-pitched screeches.
And then they saw it - an army of bats rapidly zigzagging right toward them!
Dora and Ric screamed, and Eddy reached out trying to shield them saying,
"Bats won't hurt you if you don't try to hurt them,
and I can tell you they'd rather have insects for dinner than human blood."
