One day, Lily Lambkin came to live on Farmer Freds farm.Lily was from the city."I will love living here," said Lily."I can knit all the time."
Sharon was the leader of Farmer Fred's sheep."What is knitting?" she asked.
"People in the city love knitting," said Lily."They all have Knitting Fever!"
"Tell us more," said the sheep.
"People buy our wool," said Lily."Then they knit the coarse wool into sweaters."
"Tell us more!" demanded the sheep.
"Don't be so impatient!" said Lily. "I'll show you."
Lily took a pair of knitting needles and wool.She pushed the needles in and out of the rough wool.
"Knit and knit, Knitwit. Knit a sweater that will fit!" said Lily.
The sheep started to knit.Now they had Knitting Fever!
