A Bear Cub A Bear Cub When a bear cub is born, its eyes are closed. But it does not need to see to eat. The tiny bear cub drinks milk. He does not need to learn how because he just knows how. After a while, he is strong enough to go out into the fresh air. Then, it is time to go out into the wild where he will learn to hunt. He will be grown-up soon. He will wade across streams to catch fish. His strong paws and jaws will help him eat the meat. He will also eat berries from plants.
