He bounded down the stairs, excited to begin the day.When he reached the kitchen, his grandmother was all dressed and ready to go.She was carrying several shopping bags and a large, round box.
His grandmother gave him a wink and said,"You can carry the bags, but don't look inside or you'll spoil the surprise."
They said goodbye to Lucy and his mother, and started their walk to school.
When they reached Pedro's social studies class, they sat next to Ramon and his father.
