The fisherman thought his wife's suggestion was quite foolish.But having no other solution, he went to the well near the crooked tree.
"Oh This Friend," he called down into the well,"That Friend sends her greetings and begs for the spindle she misplaced. We wish to make a carpet."
Much to his surprise, the well answered him! "How could I say no to That Friend?Take the spindle and return it to me when you are finished."With that, a spindle with thread wrapped around it flew out of the well. The amazed fisherman caught it.
