Chapter 3 A Natural! Chapter 3 A Natural! On Wednesday, it rained all day. Emily was upset. She had been looking forward to hockey practice. It was funny to think that less than a week ago she had hated the idea of playing! On Thursday, the field was drier. There was time for one final practice. "Which position would you like to try for?" her mother asked. Emily thought hard. "I think I'd like to try out for goalie," she said. "Terrific," exclaimed Mrs. Jones. "Now let's go practice!"
