Narrator: Time passes and the grasshopper is still hopping through the field.He is having a wonderful time!
Work Ants: Silly grasshopper should be stopping, but instead he keeps on hopping!
Narrator: Later that day an ant walks by, carrying something on his back.The grasshopper stops hopping so that he can talk to the ant.
Grasshopper: What do you have on your back?I can tell it is heavy by the way you are walking.It looks like a lot to carry for a little ant.
Ant: I am carrying a piece of corn.Yes, it is very heavy, but I am really strong.I can lift things that are ten times my weight. Now I must go.
Work Ants: It's not easy work, you're right, but we will finish and sleep at night!
Narrator: The grasshopper hops into the ant's path so that he cannot go.
