"I sure did," said Mark. He looked around."I think it came from the creek."
"Look!" said Marcella, pointing up at the branches of the tree above them."A bird is building a nest!"

They heard their mother say, "We are delighted to be in our new home."
"I love our new house, too," said Marcella."It's great to live so close to a creek with animals and trees all around us."
"We'll have lots of fun here," agreed Mark."The only thing better than the animals are the awesome bugs!"
"I can't wait until school starts and we can make some new friends," Marcella said."First, we have to get through the summer," laughed Mark."We have a lot to see and do before then.""I wonder if we will meet any kids before then," said Marcella."Who knows?" said Mark, getting up from his shady spot."Anyway, do you want to play baseball?""Yes!"
